1. Read the asset tag
Scan QR or barcode asset labels with the browser scanner. Shared phones and rugged devices work the same; no install.
2. Resolve the scan to a record
Route the captured ID to your registry, CMMS lookup API, or webhook. Return the fields technicians need: asset name, serial, room, owner, or warranty state.
3. Verify on site
Use API Call & Display or Beep on Status so staff instantly know if the tag matches the expected asset—fewer wrong picks and safer changeovers.
